Merry Christmas!!

In case some of you have forgotten, Christmas will be here shortly and the number of shopping days is quickly diminishing - Mr.Q might need some help with his family gift ideas, so don't forget to be festive and lend a teacher some good gift ideas!

Congratulations to everyone in Grade 8 for a great trip to the Food Bank.  ACC donated a HUGE pile of boxes to the food bank and the Grade 8s had a very enlightening tour during our visit.  Thanks for your kindness and ALTRUISM Grade 8!  I am looking forward to your Christmas/Holiday projects!

Lots of stuff coming up:  Concerts, Carolling, Skating...Skiing!  Stay tuned for some skiing in the new year! 

Lastly, a huge thanks to Mr. Abelhauser for refreshing things down in the Junior High wing!

Dance a huge success -- organizationally

Congratulations on running a super dance for Halloween, Grade8 committee!

A lot of planning and hard work went into the works for a very detail driven dance.

DJs, sound and lights, setup, teardown, security, canteen, door, decorations, ....etc
Great job and great collection of food for the foodbank!  very ALTRUISTIC of you all.

Wow!

Good news and bad news.  Firstly, I just have to comment on the great work done by my Grade 6 Social Studies class.  They have just finished a project on their family and how they 'relate' to PEI -- WOW!  Some of these projects absolutely blew me out of the Milky Way galaxy!  Did I say WOW!  Great job Grade 6, I am very impressed.  The bad news is I now expect this level of performance for all of your work!

YES!  Get your Biography projects reviewed by me ASAP!  Due dates are arriving quickly and this is a great project to work on during silent reading!  Cheers, Mr. Q
